About the Foundation

The David R. Luther Foundation was established in 2025 by David R. Luther and his family to help promote and support educational opportunities and choices for students and their families.

The Foundation's genesis began with the establishment of the David '06 and Jamie '06 Luther Laker Sprit Teams Endowed Scholarship Fund at Grand Valley State University. David and Jamie have been long-time supporters of their alma mater, and David is a previous member of the GVSU Young Alumni Council, helping to connect recent graduated to the University through philanthropic events, community outreach, and social events.

David also serves on several alumni advisory boards at various institutions, including serving as an alumni advisor to the Iota-Psi chapter of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at Ferris State University.

David also sponsors programs at Forest Hills Norther High School in Grand Rapids, Dutton Christian Schools, and Grand Rapids South Christian High School.
